About the College

St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology (STCET) is a premium educational institution  approved by the  All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-New Delhi and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Government of Kerala. The college is located at Kozhuvalloor around 10 kilometers from the town of Chengannur, Alappuzha District and is well connected to all major cities by road and railway networks. The college acquired ISO certification (ISO 9001:2008) in the year 2011 and accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in the year 2019. The institution is established by St. Thomas Educational Society-Adoor. The members of the society are experienced persons from the field of education, engineering, medicine and management . STCET is a leading institution which  provides excellent infrastructural facilities for learning and development. The institute runs five undergraduate courses that include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering.

About the Departments

The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department was established  in the year 2010. The fundamental goal of our department is to provide a holistic platform for the students that can help them to achieve academic excellence through innovative and quality education of high standards. The department tries to ensure intellectual, ethical and social development amongst the students. The department motivates both co-curricular and extracurricular activities, for the overall development of its students. The department laboratories have the state of art equipment and high-quality lab practices with experienced supporting staff which encourages students to pursue self-developed and innovative project works.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department was introduced in the year 2010 at our esteemed institution, St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology (Kozhuvalloor, Chengannur) with a key objective and aim of providing both fundamentals and Industry/ Future ready programs in this field by nurturing the students to deep-dive in their fields of interest and also motivating them to excel.

Scope of the Conference

The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of technological advances in electrical and electronics engineering. also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of emerging areas of electronics, electrical and communication engineering.

Objectives of the Conference

The International Research Conference is a sophisticated organization dedicated to bringing together a considerable number of varied scholarly measures for presentation within the conference program. Events will run over a span of time during the conference depending on the number and length of the presentations. With its high quality, it provides an outstanding value for students, academics and industry researchers. The conference provides a unique forum for the exchange of knowledge and information among the professionals across the globe.

Outcomes of the Conference

The conference provided a rare opportunity for extensive discussion leading to a new ‘social contract’ for engineering and science  as we enter the twenty-first century. The participants analyzed where the natural engineering and sciences stand today and where they are heading, what their social impact has been and what society expects from them. They also established what efforts should be invested to make engineering and science advance in response to both these expectations and the challenges posed by human and social development.
